Tube BasketPrivacy Policy

Tube Basket ("the service") is designed to handle as little personal data as possible. This policy covers the Tube Basket Chrome extension and this website.
1. What we do not collect
The service has no backend server. The following never leaves your browser and is never sent to us:
- Videos, pins, notes, folders and screen captures you save
- Your YouTube watch history, searches or the pages you visit
- Names, contact details or account information (there is no sign-up)
We use no ads, analytics or tracking cookies, and we never sell or share data.
2. Data stored in your browser
Your library and settings are stored only in the extension's local storage in your browser (chrome.storage.local). Uninstalling the extension deletes this data. Backup files are saved wherever you choose and are never sent to us.
3. Pro purchases and license checks
Pro purchases are processed by Polar Software, Inc. (polar.sh), which acts as the Merchant of Record. Polar collects your email address and payment details under its own privacy policy; we never receive your card details.
When you activate a license, and when it is re-checked (at most once every 7 days), the extension sends only the following to Polar's API (api.polar.sh):
- Your license key
- A device activation ID and a label containing the activation date (e.g. "Tube Basket 2026-10-06")
The purchase email and license status returned by Polar are stored only in your browser and shown in the settings page.
4. Extension permissions
- Access to youtube.com: to show the basket sidebar and player tools on YouTube pages.
- storage / unlimitedStorage: to keep your library and captures in your browser.
- activeTab: to capture the current tab when you press the capture button.
- downloads: to save capture images to your Downloads folder.
5. Announcements
The extension may read a public announcement file from this website to show update notices. The request contains no user data.
6. Your rights (GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA and similar laws)
Because we do not collect or store personal data, there is nothing for us to access, correct, export or delete. You can delete everything the extension stores at any time by uninstalling it. For data related to a purchase (email, payment, invoice), please contact Polar, which is the data controller for payment data, or write to us and we will help you reach them.
7. Children
The service does not collect personal data, including from children.

Tube Basket(이하 "서비스")은 사용자의 개인정보를 최소한으로만 다루도록 설계되었습니다. 이 방침은 크롬 확장 프로그램 Tube Basket과 이 웹사이트에 적용됩니다.
1. 수집하지 않는 정보
서비스는 운영자 서버를 두지 않습니다. 다음 정보는 운영자에게 전송되지 않습니다.
- 사용자가 저장한 영상, 핀, 메모, 폴더, 캡처 이미지
- YouTube 시청 기록, 검색 기록, 방문한 페이지
- 이름, 연락처 등 계정 정보 (서비스에는 회원가입이 없습니다)
광고, 분석 도구, 추적 쿠키를 사용하지 않으며, 어떤 정보도 제3자에게 판매하지 않습니다.
2. 브라우저에 저장되는 정보
영상·핀·메모·설정 등 모든 보관함 데이터는 사용자 브라우저의 확장 프로그램 저장소(chrome.storage.local)에만 저장됩니다. 확장 프로그램을 삭제하면 이 데이터도 함께 삭제됩니다. 백업 파일은 사용자가 직접 저장 위치를 고르며 운영자에게 전송되지 않습니다.
3. Pro 결제와 라이선스 확인
Pro 결제는 결제 대행사 Polar(polar.sh, Merchant of Record)를 통해 처리됩니다. 결제 시 입력하는 이메일, 결제 수단 정보는 Polar가 직접 수집·처리하며 운영자는 카드 정보를 받지 않습니다. 자세한 내용은 Polar 개인정보처리방침을 확인해 주세요.
라이선스 키를 등록하거나 주기적으로(최대 7일마다) 확인할 때, 확장 프로그램은 다음 정보만 Polar API(api.polar.sh)로 보냅니다.

- 기기 활성화 ID와 등록 날짜가 담긴 라벨 (예: "Tube Basket 2026-10-06")
Polar가 돌려준 구매 이메일과 라이선스 상태는 사용자 브라우저에만 저장되어 설정 화면에 표시됩니다.
4. 확장 프로그램 권한
- youtube.com 접근: YouTube 페이지에 보관함 사이드바와 플레이어 도구를 표시하기 위해 필요합니다.
- storage / unlimitedStorage: 보관함과 캡처 데이터를 브라우저에 저장하기 위해 필요합니다.
- activeTab: 사용자가 캡처 버튼을 누를 때 현재 탭 화면을 캡처하기 위해 필요합니다.
- downloads: 캡처 이미지를 다운로드 폴더에 저장하기 위해 필요합니다.
5. 공지 정보
확장 프로그램은 업데이트 안내를 위해 이 웹사이트의 공지 파일을 읽을 수 있습니다. 이 요청에는 사용자 데이터가 포함되지 않습니다.
6. 아동의 개인정보
서비스는 개인정보를 수집하지 않으므로 아동의 개인정보도 수집하지 않습니다.
